Defexpo 2010 event sold out

Defexpo 2010, the land and naval systems exhibition to be held in February in Delhi, has been fully sold out nearly three months before the show. The show in 2010 will be organized by the Defence Exhibitions Organisation (DEO). Though the bookings started late, in late 2009, all available slots have been taken up and there is an overbooking to the extent of 10%, according to the DEO. Differences over appointment of an event manager and availability of halls for Defexpo 2010 had held up the space selling and marketing for several months. However, in the end, the DEO decided to organize the show themselves rather appoint an outside show manager. The show will feature leading international defense contractors such as Lockheed Martin, BAE Systems, Raytheon, Rosoboronexport, SAAB and many others. Indian exhibitors include Mahindra Defence Systems, Brahmos, BEL, L & T among others.
