Oshkosh Defense Europe B.V. and Oshkosh Defense, LLC, announced on Thursday that the Netherlands Ministry of Defence has awarded a contract for the production of 150 Dutch Expeditionary Patrol Vehicles (DXPV), a variant of the Joint Light Tactical Vehicle (JLTV).
These vehicles are intended to fulfill the Royal Netherlands Marine Corps’ Future Littoral All Terrain Mobility – Patrol Vehicle (FLATM-PV) requirement.
Designed to operate in coastal and amphibious environments, the Oshkosh DXPV offers high off-road mobility, speed, and NATO-standard interoperability. It shares many components and systems with the JLTVs already fielded by the U.S. Department of Defense and other allied nations.
The Netherlands now becomes part of a growing list of countries operating Oshkosh platforms, including the United States, Lithuania, Slovenia, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Mongolia, Latvia, Slovakia, Brazil, Romania, and Israel.
Oshkosh Defense remains the only original equipment manufacturer (OEM) authorized to supply JLTVs directly to international partners.
