A team led by Lockheed Martin was selected by the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) to compete for future task orders under the DIA Solutions for the Information Technology Enterprise (SITE) contracting vehicle. "Lockheed Martin is thrilled to be selected by the DIA," said John Mengucci, President of Lockheed Martin Information Systems & Global Services-Defense. "The team is positioned to deliver innovative technology and business process solutions that can be rapidly deployed, efficiently managed, and seamlessly integrated into the frontline intelligence architecture." SITE is a multiple award, indefinite-delivery-indefinite-quantity (IDIQ) contract, established by DIA to create the procurement framework for delivering the type of services currently provided by the expiring DIESCON III, ICE 2 contracting vehicles. The Lockheed Martin-led team, one of 11 companies selected, will compete for future task orders which, all totaled, have a contract ceiling of more than $6.6 billion over the course of five years.
