Saab CEO Håkan Buskhe is currently on a four day visit to India with deputy CEO, Lena Olving and Senior Vice President Industrial Co-operation, Andreas Von der Heide. During their visit they will meet with a number of Indian Industries to discuss potential future co-operations. For a long time Saab has regarded India as an important hub strategically and is acknowledging India as a fast growing key market with a procurement plan that fits well into Saabs portfolio. This is Håkan Buskhes’ second visit to India since September after taking position as new CEO of Saab. For Saab to ensure future co-operations and lasting business-driven partnerships, generating long term mutual benefits, steps must be taken with care, involving productive discussions and strategic action plans to establish what kind of co-operation or partnership that should be entered into. During the visit Håkan Buskhe has also had the opportunity to further deepen relationships with The Indian Industrial company Mahindra Satyam by signing a Memorandum of Understanding which should be seen as the initial step in a long-term co-operation between the two parties. “This Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between Saab and Mahindra Satyam forms a good basis to bring together the expertise of the two parties, resulting in good value for potential customers and also to sound and profitable business relations between the parties” says Saab CEO Håkan Buskhe.
