Embraer to Participate In Aero India 2011

Embraer will participate in the eighth International Exhibition on Aerospace, Defense and Civil Aviation – Aero India 2011, to be held at Air Force Station Yelahanka, in Bangalore, India, February 9-13. The Company will promote its products from the executive, airline, and defense and security business areas during the show, and will be at booth #29, in Hall E. Embraer will also present the largest Executive Jets display it has ever had at an air show in India. The static display at Aero India 2011 will consist of a Phenom 100, Phenom 300, Lineage 1000, and the latest jet in its suite – the Legacy 650, which was certified in October 2010. Two press conferences have been scheduled by Embraer during the show. The first – to be held on opening day, February 9, at 2:00 p.m., in Hall E, Room A – will focus on the executive aviation market. The second will target defense and security, and will take place on February 10, at 3:00 p.m., in Hall E, Room B. With a strong presence in the Indian market, Embraer has placed products with both national government agencies and private companies. In the executive aviation sector, the Company has made significant progress. Key customers in India who operate the Phenom 100 include Aviators India Pvt. Ltd. and Invision Pvt. Ltd. The latter received the first two Phenom 100s in India, which are part of a total order for 18 Phenom 100s and two Phenom 300s.
