DCS Corp wins $76.5 million contract for TARDEC from US Army

DCS Corp announced today that the company has been awarded the Tank Automotive Research, Development and Engineering Command (TARDEC) contract providing support to the US Army. The contract has a four-year period of performance and an estimated value of approximately $76.5 million. It is a follow-on to a contract previously awarded to DCS in 2004. "DCS has made significant investments in our engineers and our infrastructure in support of this contract," said Dave Russell, President and Chief Operating Officer. "We look forward to continuing to provide superior service and advanced technology solutions to TARDEC." DCS will continue to provide technical engineering in support of TARDEC's in-service engineering and Science and Technology missions. These missions emphasize technical engineering services for Program Managers within PEO-Ground Combat Systems including PM Unmanned Ground Vehicles (UGV), PM Stryker Brigade Combat Team (SBCT), PM Mine Resistance Ambush Protection (MRAP), PM Heavy Brigade Combat Team (HBCT), PM Robotics System Joint Project Office (JPO) and TARDEC Army and Technology Objective (ATO), Advanced Technology Demonstrator (ATD) programs in the ground vehicle domain.
