Lockheed Martin and Global Aerospace Logistics MoU to Provide Sensor Solutions for UAE Armed Forces

Lockheed Martin Gyrocam Systems, LLC, and Global Aerospace Logistics, LLC, today announced the signing of a teaming agreement to offer proven, low risk, best value solutions to address the immediate and future Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) sensor needs of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) Armed Forces. The initial, primary focus is to support ground vehicle based ISR sensor solutions for the UAE Armed Forces. "This teaming agreement with Lockheed Martin emphasizes the values and goals of our established relationship," said Dr. Hassan Yousuf, chief executive officer for Global Aerospace Logistics. "Together, we are committed to providing defense capabilities to support the UAE Armed Forces and transferring knowledge and skills to Emirati citizens." The team will work to leverage proven EO/IR sensor solutions for ground vehicles and fixed applications to provide the UAE Armed Forces with exceptional situational awareness. Additionally, the work will provide full maintenance capabilities for the UAE Armed Forces and provide UAE citizens the technical skills and knowledge necessary to service and maintain the systems.
