General Dynamics Information Technology, a business unit of General Dynamics, has been selected as an awardee for the U.S. Army's Combined Arms Center (CAC) Fort Leavenworth Support Services program contract. The multi-award, indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity contract has a potential value of $260 million over five years for all awardees if all options are exercised. Through this contract, General Dynamics will provide support for key Army training programs across 18 broad functional areas, including leader development, organizational and combat development, doctrine development, mission command support and educational support, data collection and analysis, mapping and terrain analysis, training and simulation development, information technology (IT) and exercise support and military research. The program will serve the needs of the CAC and other customers throughout the Training and Doctrine Command (TRADOC), U.S. Army and Department of Defense for long-range training concepts and strategies, doctrine, training development and support products.
