Oshkosh wins $97 million contract for Vehicles from US Defense

Oshkosh Corp., Oshkosh, Wis., was awarded on May 20 a $97,146,579 firm-fixed-price contract. The award will provide for the procurement of 177 Mine Resistant Ambush Protected All-Terrain Vehicles installed with underbody improvements kits. Work will be performed in McConnelsburg, Penn.; Milwaukee, Wis.; and Oshkosh, Wis., with an estimated completion date of Jan. 31, 2011. One bid was solicited, with one bid received. The U.S. Army TACOM LCMC, Warren, Mich., is the contracting activity. . . . ....................
