GD Wins $3.7Bn Contract for Hardware Systems from US Army

General Dynamics C4 Systems Inc., was awarded a $3,700,000,000 firm-fixed-price, cost-plus-fixed-fee, level-of-effort, indefinite-delivery / indefinite-quantity contract. The award will provide for the procurement of the Command Hardware Systems-4. Work will be performed in Taunton, Mass., with an estimated completion date of Aug. 26, 2016. The bid was solicited through the Internet, with one bid received. The U.S. Army Communications-Electronics Command, Contracting Center, Aberdeen Proving Ground, Md., is the contracting activity.
