BAE Systems has announced the appointment of new Managing Director and Chief Executive of its India operations. Dean McCumiskey will take over the reigns from Andrew Gallagher who takes up new responsibilities as BAE Systems Director of Audit, based in the United Kingdom. McCumiskey, who takes over in March 2012, will be responsible for leading the security company’s business development in India. BAE Systems, employs about 100 people in India and 350 through it’s joint ventures with HAL, Defence Land Systems India (DLSI) and Mahindra and Mahindra. McCumiskey has held senior management positions in both the US and Europe in the fields of global defence, aerospace and security industry. Dean McCumiskey has deep experience of the global defence, aerospace and security industry, having held senior management positions in both the US and Europe. Before coming on BAE’s Chief Information Officer, McCumiskey was responsible for business winning activities in Europe, Canada and South America, leading multi-million dollar campaigns covering the air, land, maritime and security sectors.
