Meggitt Wins Sikorsky’s Rotorcraft Contract

Meggitt has been awarded a five-year agreement worth $129 million from Sikorsky Aircraft Corporation to cover the company’s production of military rotorcraft that also includes the Black Hawk helicopters. The contract includes manufacture of fuel tanks, ice protection equipment, composites and interiors. The deliveries will begin in 2013. John Skubina, Deputy President, Meggitt Polymers & Composites, said, “This win reflects the Rockmart plant’s world-class delivery and quality record, and we look forward to maintaining this high performance for the duration of this agreement and beyond”.
