L-3, Exelis Win U.S Army Night Vision Contract

L-3 Communications Corp and Exelis has won a $200 million contract from the U.S Army to supply advanced night vision equipment. The two companies each won a share on the firm-fixed-price contract to supply 3rd generation aviator’s night vision imaging systems. The contractors will perform work according to individual task orders, and are expected to complete by Sept. 3, 2017. Three bids were received in response to the solicitation issued via the web.
