FlightSafety Services Corp. was awarded a $78 million contract for engineering, manufacturing and development of the KC-46 aircrew training system, including delivery of courseware and simulator-based training systems.
The initial obligation will be $1 miilion. The remaining amount will be incrementally funded.
This contract contains options for production, training, operations and sustainment that if exercised will increase the value of the contract.
Work will be performed at Broken Arrow, Okla., and St. Louis, Mo., and is expected to be completed by 2026. This award is the result of a competitive acquisition and five offers were received.
