The Swedish Administrative Court has delayed a $3 billion defence procurement of military trucks and may take weeks to finalize, according to Svenska Dagbladet.
The deal is a joint procurement by the Swedish Defence Material Administration (FMV) and its Norwegian counterpart, FLO.
The German company Rheinmetall MAN was expected to have been awarded the substantial order, but competitors in the bidding process claim that the German military vehicle manufacturer raised its prices in the procurement process.
The competitors for the deal, Scania and Mercedes, claim that MAN's final bid is $229 million more expensive than their bids, and last week Swedish Scania appealed the procurement process to the Administrative Court.
