Raytheon is working on the Plan X program, in order to help U.S. government agencies plan, execute and assess cyber network operations.
"Plan X is an entirely new approach for planning and executing cyber operations," said Dr. Jack Marin, vice president for cyber security at Raytheon BBN. "It is a comprehensive program designed to provide easy-to-use cyber operations planning tools to users who may not have a deep background in cyber."
Raytheon BBN is developing network mapping and graph analysis technologies under a $6 million Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency contract. The Raytheon BBN system will continually assimilate network information to create a multi-dimensional, single interface to enable planning of cyber operations.
