Exelis Win $76 Million Polish Air Base Radar Contract
Exelis has been awarded a $76 million contract for nine ground control approach radars 2000 Systems (GCA-2000) to be installated at nine airbases in Poland.
The contractor will manufacture, assemble, test, install systems to be used for aircraft approach and landing guidance, airspace control services and support of air traffic control operations, mission requirements and operator maintenance training.
Work will be performed in Poland, and is expected to be complete by Nov. 2018.
