Raytheon Wins $125 Million Worth Missile Contracts

Raytheon was awarded yesterday with two missile contracts worth $125 Million in total by the US Department of Defense.

The first contract is a $17.2 million delivery to supply the government of Australia with 28 LAU-115D/A missile launchers and 30 LAU-116-B/A missile launchers, and to supply the U.S. Navy with a further 34 LAU-116-B/A missile launchers.

These launchers will be installed on F/A-18E/F fighter jets and EA-18G electronic warfare aircraft. Work is estimated to be completed by September 2016.

A $107.9 million contract modification was also won by Raytheon to supply Patriot missile system for the US Army. This contract will run through July 31.
