Airbus is introducing autonomous features to its helicopter Flightlab through a project code-named Vertex. The autonomous technologies set to integrate into the Flightlab are: vision based sensors and algorithms for situational awareness and obstacle detection; fly-by-wire for enhanced auto-pilot; and an advanced human-machine-interface - in the form of a touchscreen and head worn display for inflight monitoring and control
The UK Royal Navy's Type 23 frigates could be equipped with "ship-killing" SEA SERPENT missiles produced by Israel Aerospace Industries (IAI) and Thales. The Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) Navy has received 340 stealthy speedboats capable of carrying weapons. The speedboats joined the IRGC Navys fleet in Irans southern port city of Bandar Abbas Monday on the occasion of the 42nd anniversary of the Islamic Revolution, Iranian-state owned
