The Chinese National Day parade held on October 1 every year has showcased new weapons and major upgrades. This year’s event was no different with several new additions to the Peoples Liberation Army (PLA)’s arsenal.

JL-2
This is a Chinese second-generation intercontinental-range submarine-launched ballistic missile (SLBM)
The missile was successfully fired from a Type 094 submarine, the intended operational platform, for the first time in 2009.
GJ-11
China’s new Gongji-11 (GJ-11) stealth-capable combat drone having a flying wing design similar to United States’ B-2 strategic bomber.
WZ-8
New dagger-shaped high-altitude reconnaissance drone, could likely be able to fly at a high-supersonic speed and have stealth capabilities.
Z-20 helicopter
First flight was on 23 December 2013, Z-20 is a multi-role medium-lift utility helicopter that can adapt to different terrains and weather.
H-6N
Revealed in September 2019 has an Air Launched Ballistic Missile (ALBM) carrier version.
