Turkish Indigenous Drones, Missiles Overwhelm Russian-made Syrian Military Hardware

Turkish defense industry-made equipment such as the Bayraktar and Anka drones aided by the Koral electronic warfare system completely overwhelmed Russian-origin hardware with the Syrian military during Turkey’s offensive in Idlib region of Syria last week.

The Syrian Army’s highly-rated Pantsir-S1 air defence system (ADS), the Su-24 fighter jets, the L-39 light attack jet, T-72 tanks and BMP armored personnel carriers fell by the wayside when attacked by Turkish drones.

In comparison, Turkey lost just 2 drones.
