Katyusha Rockets- Low cost, low tech weapons challenging heavy firepower in Iraq

When Two American and a British soldier were killed in a rocket attack against US' Al-Taji military base near Baghdad on March 12, the focus has fallen on the weapons used.

Approximately eighteen 107mm Katyusha rockets struck the base. Rockets were fired from Kia Bongo pickup truck with a missile launcher along with 3 rockets in the back was found south of Baghdad's al-Rashidiya district following the attack.
