ST Engineering will showcase STK 5.56 Bullpup Multirole Combat Rifle, a new family of rifles with multi-role capabilities at the Singapore Airshow 2014, 11-16 February.
The group will also display the BRACES (Bionic Regenerative Active Energy System) which converts the mechanical energy generated by the soldier from moving during missions, into electric energy to power soldier systems or other low-power electronic devices.
New service offerings include the VIP aircraft completions, which has steadily been building an impressive track record, and modernization solutions that address obsolescence issues for many military operators.
Other exhibition highlights include ST Aerospace's capabilities in airframe, component and engine MRO, engineering design and development, logistics and training.
"The combat solutions cluster showcases our latest innovative solutions and platforms that combine the best of ST Electronics, ST Kinetics and ST Marine to meet the needs of today's warfighter," Executive Vice President, International Marketing, Patrick Choy, was quoted as saying by Bernama.
Defence solutions with main features such as reliability, mobility, lethality, and survivability are supported by advanced technologies in automation, robotics and network-centric capabilities.
In the environmental solutions cluster, ST Engineering turn its attention on the rapid pace of urbanisation and the importance of public safety and security.
"We present to visitors our customised solutions ranging from communication and surveillance systems to robotics that are designed to make towns and cities safer, cleaner and more liveable, Choy added.
