Boeing Wins $1.1 Billion Helicopter Contract From US Army

Boeing has won a $1.1 billion to contract from the US Army for full rate production of the AH-64E Apache helicopter, 72 remanufactured helicopter systems, 10 new helicopter systems and other spare parts.

The contract will include the supply of refreshing five crew trainers , refurbishing one crew trainer, and integrated logistics support, peculiar ground support equipment, initial spares, over and above, and engineering studies.

The contract runs through June 30, 2016, the Pentagon said in its daily digest of major weapons contracts.
