New BrahMos CEO To Take Charge In August

Sudhir Mishra has been appointed new Chief Executive Officer of BrahMos Aerospace Corporation where he will replace A Sivathanu Pillai. 

Senior missile scientist Sudhir Mishra, in-charge of all major missile programmes will take over as the head of the BrahMos on August 1 after Pillai's term expires on July 31.


He has contributed in a significant manner in the all the missile programmes under the Integrated Missile Development Programme (IMDP) including the Agni ballistic missile programme. 

BrahMos missile has been developed for all the three services by the joint venture company and is being developed for submarines and fighter aircraft such as Sukhoi Su-30MKI combat aircraft.
