Oshkosh Completes DoD’s Net-Ready Testing

Oshkosh Defense completed Net-Ready testing in the U.S. Department of Defense’s (DOD’s) Joint Light Tactical Vehicle (JLTV) program using Oshkosh Light Combat Tactical All-Terrain Vehicle (L-ATV).

“Our JLTV has demonstrated its capability to transfer critical data from onboard systems to external networks during this testing and evaluation process,” said U.S. Marine Corps Colonel (Retired), John Bryant, senior vice president, Defense Programs for Oshkosh Defense.

Oshkosh recently completed this testing at the Electronic Proving Grounds at Fort Huachuca, Arizona – the United States Army's developmental test center for Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Cyber and Intelligence (C5I) capabilities.

Oshkosh is providing vehicle training and support throughout the 14 months of military testing during the EMD phase. The JLTV is expected to fill a significant capability gap that exists between larger MRAP vehicles and the aging High-Mobility Multipurpose Wheeled Vehicles (HMMWV) fleet.
