Ricoh Americas Corporation has launched RICOH NV-10A digital binoculars on Thursday to provide a crisp, clear image even at night, for marine, military, law enforcement, homeland security and other professionals in their work.

RICOH NV-10A combine advanced PENTAX optics and Ricoh image processing, enabling enhanced binoculars to be water resistant, dustproof and include GPS location and digital compass.

The PENTAX Atmospheric Interference Reduction (PAIR) technology used reintroduces color that would otherwise be obscured. The Binoculars can penetrate fog, smoke, rain and sand.

The RICOH NV-10A digital binoculars will enable users to push a button on the binoculars and clarify, brighten and sharpen images and also they can capture both still and video images of the scenes they're surveying.

Advanced stabilization further improves image clarity, and infrared technology lights up the faintest scenes in the dark of night.

"This is a serious tool for the serious user," said Matt Sakauchi, Product Marketing, Technology Marketing, Ricoh Americas Corporation.

The binoculars are convenient to use while wearing gloves as they provide large, well-spaced buttons. Non-slip rubber surfaces provide a sure grip and subdued colors help the user remain discreet.
