Finmeccanica Exhibits AW189 Helicopter At LIMA 2015

Finmeccanica will be exhibiting AW189 helicopter and GrandNew light twin engine helicopter at LIMA 2015, the company announced in its press release on Tuesday.

The first AW189 helicopter is supposed to be delivered to Weststar Aviation Services. The AW189 is a large twin-engined helicopter with a five-bladed fully articulated main rotor, a four-bladed tail rotor and a retractle tricycle landing gear.

AW189 is powered by two General Electric CT7-2E1 turboshaft engines. It has room for 19 passengers and two crews.

Both helicopters are part of AgustaWestland’s family of new generation helicopters.
