Harris Corp Wins $450 Million Contract To Support DISA's Crisis Management System

Harris Corporation has won a $450 million contract from the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) to provide systems engineering and program management services for the Crisis Management System (CMS).

The single-award IDIQ contract has a one-year base and nine one-year options, the company announced in its press release on Thursday.

The CMS provides government leaders with video and voice communications, powered by a secure, high-performance network. This enables senior U.S. government officials to exchange high-interest, time-sensitive information for critical decision making during emergency situations.

"This program is a critical part of our national security infrastructure,” said Wayne Lucernoni president of Harris IT Services.

Harris Corp will continue to provide 24/7 on-call, on-site corrective maintenance for all related hardware and software components. The engineering support will include design, development, integration, test, installation, training, and documentation for all enhancements to the CMS.
