No Talks With US In Iran-Like Nuke Deal: North Korea

North Korea has ruled out any dialogue with the US following the successful nuclear agreement with Iran.

"It is illogical to compare our situation with the Iranian nuclear agreement as we are exposed to provocative US military hostilities that include joint military exercises and a nuclear threat from the US,” North Korean Foreign Ministry spokesman told the North's official KCNA news agency Tuesday.

North Korea has successfully carried out three nuclear tests in 2006, 2009 and 2013.

Despite massive sanctions by the US, European Union and the United Nations against the country, North Korea has pushed ahead with its nuclear and missile development programs.

"We do not have any interest at all on dialogue for unilaterally freezing or giving up our nukes. We are clearly a nuclear power and nuclear powers have their own interests," the statement said.
