Raytheon has won a $200 million contract from the US missile defense agency to plan and analyze testing of ballistic missile system.
The company will continue to maintain system software and hardware, perform modeling and simulation support, and provide engineering services, the US Defense Department announced Thursday.
Raytheon will start carrying out the contract from November 1, 2015, through Oct. 31, 2017. The missile is designed to counter short, medium, intermediate and long-range ballistic missiles.
