Germany will reconsider selling military equipment to Saudi Arabia following Saturday’s execution of 47 people.

German Vice Chancellor Sigmar Gabriel was quoted by Iran’s Press TV as warning Saudi Arabia that Germany would review on whether or not to sell arms to Riyadh.

Germany’s both the opposition parties Greens and Left have demanded that Berlin halt all military equipment sales to Saudi Arabia.

Saudi Arabia executed 47 people including a prominent Shian cleric Sheikh Nimr al-Nimr on various terror acts over a decade on Jan 2.
