Lockheed Martin Wins $28 Million Contract For F-35A Fuel Tank Support

Lockheed Martin has been awarded a $28 million contract for air vehicle retrofit modifications associated with the F-35A fuel tank overpressure engineering.

The contract awarded is in support of the US Air Force, and the governments of Australia, Italy, the Netherlands, and Norway, the US Department of Defense announced Tuesday.

Work is expected to be completed in March 2017.

This contract combines purchases of the Air Force ($26 million); and the governments of Netherlands ($1.6 million; Italy ($201,880); Norway ($100,940) and Australia ($50,470), the statement added.
