Lockheed Martin has been awarded the US Air Force contract worth $45 million to increase the flight hours for the F-22 weapon system.
“Lockheed Martin Corp., Lockheed Martin Aeronautics Co., Fort Worth, Texas, has been awarded a $45,478,941 modification (P00670) to previously awarded contract FA8611-08-C-2897 for support to increase the flight hours for the F-22 weapon system,” the US Department of Defense announced Monday.
Work will be performed at Fort Worth, Texas, and is expected to be complete by Dec. 31, 2016.
