BEL To Showcase Weapons, Electronic Warfare, Radars, Akash Missile Systems At DefExpo 2016

India’s Bharat Electronics (BEL) will showcase Electronic Warfare systems, radars, Weapon systems, Akash Missile and other indigenous products and systems designed and developed by it for the Indian Armed forces during the DefExpo India 2016 later this month.

The display will include Land and Naval Radars for surveillance, navigation, weapon location and fire control; multi-band tactical radios, ship and airborne tactical data link, IP gateway; a range of communication encryptors supporting different interfaces and speeds; portable Unit Level Switch Board Mk III and SRAX, the company said in a statement Thursday.

Land, Naval and Airborne Electronic Warfare systems and Avionics products like Jammers, DF systems, Light Weight ESM systems, latest generation Radar Warning Receivers, Heliborne protection suites and different LRUs of UAVs; XD4 and XR5 II Tube based Night Vision Devices and weapon and tank sights, Thermal Imagers, Laser Range Finders, Laser Warning Systems, Electronic Fuzes and a variety of batteries for various applications will also be showcased during the exhibition.

Upgraded L-70 Gun, upgraded electronic systems for 155 mm/52C artillery Gun, model of Upgraded Schilka Weapon System, Tank Intercom system, Integrated Fire Detection and Suppression System (IFDSS), CoMPASS and other customised displays for tanks will also be on display.

Models of various elements of indigenously designed and developed Akash Missile System, Sonars and IAC MoD C along with Lynx U2 Tracker Mount will also be on display.

Some of the developments carried out by BEL's Central Research Laboratories — T/R Modules, Amplifiers, latest generation encryptors, IP Modem, Array Group Receivers, Military wireless LAN, Secure Smart Phone and MEMS-based products — will be on display at the BEL stall.

Indigenously designed and developed training systems like Simulators for UIFOS and Reporter Radar will also be demonstrated during the exhibition. In addition to these products and systems, which will be showcased in the form of actual equipment or models, a complete range of BEL's capabilities will be showcased through visual panels.
