Israeli Noga Einat Sets Up Plant For Indian Military Footwear

Noga Einat announces completion of construction, together with Indian company Rahman Group, of a plant in India for the manufacture of military footwear.

The companies are expanding their cooperation and increasing their marketing efforts towards the local market, the company said in a statement Monday.

According to Ora Gilad , General Manager at Noga Einat "This will enable us to offer the Indian Army our wide range of footwear. Our military shoes are highly regarded by dozens of clients, including some of the world's leading armies, and we hope to expand our activities in the Indian market as well, which presents a huge potential for us."

According to Nadeem Rahman, at Rahman Group, "Construction of the plant is only the first milestone of the overall project, whose aim is to equip the Indian Army with the most advanced shoes of their type in the world."
