Florida-based North American Surveillance Systems has won a US Air Force $39 million contract to provide intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance capabilities into Cessna 208B aircraft.
“This contract involves pseudo foreign military sales to Chad, Cameroon, Niger and Philippines,” the US Department of Defense announced Monday.
“North American Surveillance Systems, Titusville, Florida, has been awarded a $39,983,647 firm-fixed-price, undefinitized contract action. Contractor will provide modification and integration of intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance capabilities into Cessna 208B aircraft, training, and field service representative support,” the statement said.
Work will be performed at Titusville, Florida, and is expected to be complete by Sept. 30, 2019.
