AT&T has won a $74.6 million contract from the US Defense Information Systems Agency to provide secure telecom services.
AT&T will provide highly secure telecom services that support US senior leadership communications between select Department of Defense aircraft and ground stations across the continental US and around the world, the company said in a statement Wednesday.
AT&T will provide long-haul telecommunications and related transmission circuits. These support the government's restricted-use, ultra-high frequency communications platform. The services are highly reliable and resilient to keep continuous communications under duress.
