Raytheon is being awarded $50 million contract for the Marine Corps' Logistics Integration Support (LIS) program.
The LIS program is a Marine Corps Logistics Command managed program which uses a single source to manage the remanufacture, overhaul or repair or tear down and evaluation, with consistent turn-around times, of the Ground Equipment Secondary Reparable LIS items, the US Department of defense said in a statement Wednesday.
This contract includes four 12-month option periods, which, if exercised, could bring the cumulative value of this contract to $250 million.
Work is expected to be completed May 2017. If all options are exercised, work will continue through May 2021.
