Boeing Wins $1 Billion To Provide F/A-18 Aircraft Spare Parts

Boeing has won four separate contracts worth approximately $1 billion for spare parts used in F/A-18 aircraft.

The first contract worth $640 million is set for completion on Dec 31, 2021. The second contract worth $221 million is set to complete on June 30, 2019 and the third contract worth $123 million will end on December 31, 2020, the fourth contract worth $25 million is set to complete by December 2019, US department of defense said in a statement Tuesday.

All the three contracts are firm-fixed-price delivery order against a five-year base contract with one five-year option period for spare parts used in F/A-18 aircraft.

The contracting activity for all the three contracts is the Defense Logistics Agency Aviation, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
