China Launches High-Res Synthetic Aperture Radar Imaging Satellite
China launched High-Res SAR imaging satellite Wednesday

China has launched a new high-resolution Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) imaging satellite.

The Gaofen-3 satellite was launched from the Taiyuan Satellite Launch Center in northern Shanxi Province on the back of a Long March 4C rocket, Xinhua reported Wednesday.

It was the 233rd flight mission by a Long March carrier rocket.
