Boeing To Provide 2 P-8A Poseidon Maritime Aircraft To UK
Boeing has won a $68 million contract to provide long-lead parts and manufacture of two P-8A Poseidon maritime aircraft to UK.
Work is expected to be complete by July 2017, US department of defense said in a statement Friday.
The P-8A Poseidon is an aircraft designed for long-range anti-submarine warfare; anti-surface warfare; and intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance missions. It is capable of broad-area maritime and littoral operations.
