Our aim is to see to it that Rustom II will be able to demonstrate with its full capability with all the payloads integrated on it by year-end or early next year,” Chairman of DRDO, S. Rustom II is a medium altitude long endurance (MALE) UAV for reconnaissance and surveillance missions.

DRDO’s tie-up with private industries for this RFP, there were two specifications that were yet to be demonstrated at that time. They were in terms of endurance of 10 hours and a link range of 200 km.
Both have been demonstrated, in fact we got a link range of 220 km and also a range more than 10 hours.
