Insitu Wins Mid-Endurance Unmanned Aircraft ISR Services Task Order From USSOCOM

The US Special Operations Command has awarded Insitu Inc. with a $45 million worth contract for Mid-Endurance Unmanned Aircraft Systems intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance services.

“Insitu Inc. Bingen, Washington, has been awarded a maximum $45,000,000 modification contract for a non-competitive single award, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity for Mid-Endurance Unmanned Aircraft Systems (MEUAS 1.5-B) intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance services at multiple locations worldwide,” the US Department of defense announced Monday. 

The contract is 12-months long with a maximum ceiling of $195 million.The extension is required to mitigate a gap for critical services while transition to the MEUAS III contract is implemented, the release states.

MEUAS III is a follow-on contract for unmanned aircraft systems intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (ISR) services supporting Special Operations Forces (SOF) personnel and operations at multiple international sites. This includes all planning, coordination, certification, installation, pre-deployment, deployment, logistics, maintenance, flying operations and post-deployment efforts.
