The US Navy has awarded Engility Corporation a $30 million high tech engineering contract on air/ship integration, survivability and electromagnetic environmental effects that will also involve six US allies, the company announced Monday.
Engility Corporation of Andover, Massachusetts is being awarded a $30,661,981 contract for engineering and technical services in support of the Navy and the governments of Australia, Japan, Saudi Arabia, Norway, Spain, and Denmark.
Services to be provided under the contract include systems engineering management, air/ship integration, systems safety, mass properties, survivability, manufacturing and quality, electromagnetic environmental effects and interoperability, the Defense Department stated.
The contract will be administered by the Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division, Patuxent River, Maryland.
