North Korea has released an animated video depicting a missile launch against the US territory of Guam.

Footage of North Korea’s successful missile tests of the Hwasong-14 ICBM are followed by an animated sequence that zooms in on the territory of Guam from space, NK News reported, the first English-language outlet to spot the propaganda video.

The video released seems to be in reference to this week’s joint US-South Korea drills in the region.

“This is because the ‘Hwasong-12’ rocket is harassing the day and the night of the U.S.,” the subtitle continues, showing footage of two missiles being launched. The two missiles then fly into the air, and a missile is seen heading toward Guam.

“If only a single shot falls into the surrounding territorial waters by breaking through the air defense system of Guam, the illusion of U.S. which is called as the sole superpower will be laid bare to the whole world,” the caption says.

The animated video has created an uproar in Whitehouse as Chairman of the U.S. Joint Chiefs of Staff (JCS) Joseph Dunford, Vice President Mike Pence, CIA Director Mike Pompeo, Defense Secretary Jim Mattis, and Secretary of State Rex Tillerson, including the US President Donald Trump were also seen in the footage.

The video ends showing a calendar of the “South – U.S. Ulchi Freedom Guardian drills” from August 20 to 31. The UFG began, however, on Monday and runs until August 31.
