GE Wins $91.5M Modification Contract To Build 24 F414 Engines For FA-18 Aircraft

General Electric has won $91.5 million modification contract for the procurement of 24 Lot 21A full-rate production F414-GE-400 engines for the F/A-18E/F aircraft.

Work is expected to be completed in August 2018, US department of defense said in a statement Tuesday.

The contract is part of the ongoing $114.8 million contract for the procurement of 28 Lot 20 and 21 full-rate production F414-GE-400 install engines and associated devices for the F/A-18E/F and the EA-18 G aircraft. The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Maryland, is the contracting activity.
