Israel-based UVision Air today signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) with FIRSTEC for the marketing of lethal aerial loitering systems in South Korea.
FIRSTEC will market and supply the short-range Hero-30 loitering and attack UAV systems in South Korea. The MOU was inked during the ongoing Seoul ADEX 2017 show
“We are pleased to implement the MOA signed with FIRSTEC, a leader in the areas of space and aviation in South Korea. Currently, South Korea has a need for the Hero-30 systems, and we can now provide a complete solution for this need,” remarked Mr. Noam Levitt, UVision CEO.
Mr. Yong Woo Jeon, CEO and President of FIRSTEC, said “This agreement will allow FIRSTEC to boost its effort to become a total solution provider in Korea for defense and unmanned systems.”
The Hero-30 – the smallest of UVision's HERO family of Smart Loitering Systems–is designed to deliver short-range pinpoint strikes in remote locations, or in populated urban areas where speed of target opportunity response and minimizing collateral damage are of prime importance.
