Raytheon Wins $150 Million Qatar Patriot Air Defense Systems Support Contract

Raytheon has won a $150 million contract for technical expertise and assistance in the training for Qatar Patriot Air Defense systems.

The contract includes planning, fielding, deployment, operation, maintenance management, configuration management, logistics support, installation and sustainment of the Qatar Patriot Air Defense Systems and associated equipment, the US department of defense said in a statement Friday.

In December 2014, Raytheon landed a $2.4 billion contract to install a Patriot missile defense system in Qatar.
