Oshkosh Awarded $687 Million for Commercial Fire and Emergency Vehicles

Oshkosh has been awarded a maximum $687 million contract for commercial fire and emergency vehicles.

This is a five-year contract with no option periods. The work is expected to be completed by Dec. 21, 2022, the US department of defense said in a statement Friday.

The Oshkosh Fire and Emergency product includes Side Roll Protection system, Hercules and Husky foam systems, Command Zone electronics, PUC Pump and TAK-4 independent suspension according to the company web portal.
